TrackCanary (“we”, “us”) helps you monitor whether a chosen signal on a public web page is still visible, and emails you when it is no longer visible.

What we collect

The website URL you ask us to watch, your email address, and the results of our scans (for example, whether a signal was found or is no longer visible). We collect only what we need to provide the service.

How we use it

To run the checks you requested and to email you the results and alerts. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Public pages only

We only load the publicly accessible pages of the URL you provide. We do not log in, and we do not attempt to access private or restricted areas of any site.

Where your data lives

Our application and database are hosted on Railway. Emails are sent through Resend. These providers process data on our behalf.

Analytics and cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how our own website is used — for example, which pages visitors view and where they arrive from. This relies on analytics cookies. If you choose “Essential only” in our cookie banner, analytics cookies are not set and Google Analytics is not loaded. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies. Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting automatically records basic technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to keep the service secure and reliable.

Retention

We keep your watch data while your watch is active. You can unsubscribe at any time using the one-click link in any email, which stops future emails. To request deletion of your data, email us at contact@trackcanary.com.

Your choices

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe. You may also contact us to access or delete your information.
